A librarian by education, Bob worked in academic bookselling for thirty years before moving into the open access space, first with BioMed Central (a division of Springer Nature) and more recently with Knowledge Unlatched. Bob has worked with libraries throughout the world: mainly in North America but in earlier days also Australia and New Zealand with occasional visits to libraries in the UK, Hong Kong, and South Korea.
