The University of Houston Libraries has embraced a new collections philosophy that prioritizes access over ownership, with teams rather than subject liaisons managing collections holistically, and new strategies including cost-sharing with academic departments, patron driven acquisition for print monographs, and ongoing assessment processes for renewals._x000D_
