When confronted with access problems, students, faculty/staff, and librarians feel victimized by library interfaces, isolated, and cut off from critical resources. This session demonstrates how Carnegie Mellon University Libraries improved user experience, redefined intradepartmental dialogue, identified systemic discovery problems, and informed collection development.
