S40-02: If You Hide It, They Will Find It: The Importance of Usage Verification for Tracking User Serendipity
The UNF Library implemented a discovery service and removed easy access to the traditional catalog in 2011.  However, essential catalog functions such as book renewal and course reserves were not available in discovery. New usage tracking in 2019 revealed that users were finding the catalog and by-passing important discovery resources.
